TICS AND INVOLUNTARY MOVEMENT
Another symptom of FND is motor tics and involuntary movements. Tics are repetitive movements that disturb every day functioning. They can be utterly exhausting and frustrating. Tics can be facial, limbs suddenly jerking and sometimes they can be involuntary noises. These tics can have a trigger such as a loud noise or a stressful event.
They can mimic Tourette Syndrome and other conditions like Tardive Dyskinesia; however with FND they can become a part of your own unique symptomology.
