Claire’s practice is grounded in the belief that accessibility belongs not only in how art is experienced, but also in how it is made.

Slowness, interdependence and shared knowledge are not obstacles to overcome but essential parts of the process.

Working collaboratively and drawing from lived experience, community conversations and local ecologies, Claire embraces ways of making that resist urgency and individualism. Ideas evolve through listening, participation and exchange.

This approach recognises that creativity is rarely solitary. It is shaped by relationships with people, places and environments; and strengthened through collective care.

Rather than striving for independence, the work acknowledges our reliance on one another and asks what becomes possible when we create together.
